Norman Connors Celebrates the Legacy of Phyllis Hyman on June 28, 2024 at the Cutting Room 44 East 32nd Street. In concert for 2 Shows 7:00PM and 10:00 PM
Norman Connors is an Artist/Drummer/ Producer who discovered and produced Phyllis Hyman in 1976 and honors her distinctive voice, musical talent and celebrates her legacy with her original songs and music that will be remembered forever. 
Norman Connors starring Jean Carne.Who in 1976, Carn was signed to Kenneth Gamble and Leon Huff's Philadelphia International Record Company. Jean hasreleased many hit songs such as, ‘Don’t Let it go to your head’, ‘Free Love’, ‘When I find you love’, ‘Closer Than Close’, produced by saxophonist Grover Washington Jr. which went to number one on the R&B charts.
Norman will also be featuring Marva King, who also performed with Prince, Lionel Richie, and Stevie Wonder. Marva’s new single will be released soon on Connors album ‘Royalty’ with a special Phyllis Hyman song. Norman Connors new album ‘Royalty’ is to be released this summer.
The Starship Orchestra will perform the top songs of each of the above stars. This will be a night to remember.
