About Metz

Website | Facebook | Instagram | X | YouTube | Spotify

With time, we come to understand the way the joy of connection is mirrored by the void of loss, how the constancy of love is matched only by the impermanence of life, the simple idea that we could not create light if we did not risk the dark—we’d never need to.

So it is with METZ, a band once known for blowing out eardrums with songs of joyous rage who have, over their past few records, begun exploring ways to turn abrasiveness into atmospherics, the evolution of their sound not only a reflection of the maturing of the band themselves but also of a changed world that demands nuance and compassion to comprehend and to survive.

It was a journey already underway on 2020’s Atlas Vending, but one that reaches new heights on Up On Gravity Hill, where the Canadian trio creates a kaleidoscopic sonic world as tender as it is dark, aided once again by engineer Seth Manchester (Mdou Moctar, Lingua Ignota, Battles, The Body). Deep, detailed, and unyieldingly personal, it is not only METZ’s most powerful record to date but also their most beautiful.

About Gouge Away

Website | Facebook | Instagram | YouTube | Spotify

Forming in South Florida with the intention to record an EP and play one show, Gouge Away were driven by the need to write music they weren’t hearing in their local scene. A couple years later, they put out “, Dies” on local label, Eighty-Sixed Records, which they didn't expect to reach beyond their hometown. After some touring, they released “Burnt Sugar” on Deathwish Inc. which took a more personal approach when Christina Michelle was dealing with her mom’s heart complications. Following the release of the album, they toured throughout the US and beyond, sharing the stage with bands like Drug Church, Ceremony, Touche Amore, Paint it Black, Soul Glo, and many others.

About Rid of Me

Website | Facebook | InstagramSpotify

Heavy, melodic noise punk from Philadelphia featuring members of Fight Amp and Low Dose. Loud and quiet, raw yet honed, Rid Of Me strikes a nerve for anyone wanting to hear melody, emotion and punishing groove filtered through walls of noise and dissonance.

‘Access To The Lonely’ is the sophomore LP from RID OF ME, the heavy melodic noise punk outfit hailing from Philadelphia. Written on the heels of the band’s first LP ‘Traveling’ and carefully crafted throughout the strange times of 2021 & 2022, the album sees the band grow in every way possible. From the production, to the songwriting twist and turns, to maintaining the best of what makes them unique, the band has reached a heightened level of maturity. ‘Access To The Lonely’ is like a prolonged sigh followed by a rushed scream after a weekend you’d rather forget.
