Alex Grubard's Comedy All-Nighter

Comedian ALEX GRUBARD is on a mission to launch New Jersey’s funniest comedy stars into the universe, even if he has to stay up past ten o’clock to do it! Grubard has been called “The Mayor of Jersey City comedy,” “high energy,” and, “an insomniac.” Have a coffee, all the alcohol and call your doctor in the morning, because the coolest stand-ups are live on stage at the awe-inspiring White Eagle Hall in Historic Downtown Jersey City. CHRIS GETHARD - Chris Gethard was born in West Orange, Essex County, New Jersey. His current podcasts are New Jersey is The World and Beautiful/Anonymous. Gethard has released multiple books and comedy specials, which include his most recent release, A Father and The Sun, available on Audible and Career Suicide, released on HBO in 2017. He was star and creator of notorious and hilarious The Chris Gethard Show and has also had roles in the films Don’t Think Twice, The Other Guys and The Dictator and on TV shows including The Office and Broad City.

DANISH MAQBOOL - Danish Maqbool is an American stand-up comedian and actor from New Jersey who got his start performing on hundreds of shows at The Stress Factory in New Brunswick. Before he started stand-up, he was a professional gamer, producer and on-air talent for Major League Gaming. Danish is now most notably known for his role in season two of the show Ramy on Hulu. He has headlined over 80 colleges and featured on Akaash Singh’s headlining tour Big Desi Energy for over 50 shows. These days you can find Danish performing all over New York City and as a regular at The Comedy Cellar in Manhattan.

PAT BYRNE - Long-time champion of Jersey City, Pat Byrne, is a comedian and former host of WFMU’s Prove It All Night. Pat is also writer/producer of The Best Show with Tom Scharpling and has made appearances on popular podcasts including Keith & The Girl, The Goddamn Dave Hill Show and Stand By Your Band. Pat is also a pathological liar and author of The Bible.

ANDRE T. MITCHELL - Originally from the Motor City, Andre is a NJ-based comedian who has had the opportunity to perform stand-up comedy all across the country. With a laid-back observational style, Andre provides audiences with paradigm-shifting premises with an infectious delivery. He has performed on the Stand-Up NY Comedy Festival and Burbank Comedy Festival and at comedy clubs in New York including Broadway Comedy Club and Greenwich Village Comedy Club.

DANNY BRAFF - Danny Braff is a stand-up comedian whose dark observational style has had him performing at clubs such as The Stress Factory, New York Comedy Club and The World Famous Comedy Store. Danny’s two appearances on the popular podcast Kill Tony have racked up over 125,000 views on YouTube. Danny also opens for headlining comedians all over New Jersey such as Rich Vos, Aaron Berg and Mark Normand.

CASSIDY O’MALLEY - Host of the podcast Who’s That Jawn, Cassidy O’Malley has performed all over NJ and NYC including The Dojo of Comedy East in Morris Plains, NJ as well as St. Marks Comedy Club, The Comedy Cove and the Jersey City Comedy Festival. In 2023 she was featured in TAPInto Summit about her evolution from college basketball star to stand-up comedian.

IRV HERNANDEZ - Irv Hernandez is a tattoo artist and comedian born in Philadelphia and raised in Jersey City. He has performed all over New York City including at West Side Comedy Club, The Tiny Cupboard and Stand-Up NY. On multiple occasions he has been featured in Jersey City Times and NJ.com. Irv is a co-producer of Under The Boot Stand-Up Comedy Night in Jersey City.

KATE LAWLOR - Host of the podcast Tiddilating, Kate Lawlor is a New Jersey-based comedian and producer. She runs a traveling comedy show called Eyes Up Here and this year put together her first four-day comedy festival at St. Marks Comedy Club. Kate has also made several guest appearances on podcasts such as Adlibs and Comedians Exposed.

ELEAZAR GUZMAN - Eleazar Guzman has performed across the USA at major comedy clubs including The World Famous Comedy Store in LA. He’s made numerous appearances on Sirius XM’s Raw Dog channel and toured with Artie Lange from Howard Stern and Bam Margera from MTV. Currently Eleazar hosts weekly showcases at Under The Boot in Jersey City and Raise The Bar in South Amboy.

STEVE POCARO - Steve Pocaro is an NJ-comedian, drag racer and father of two amateur wrestlers. As a stand-up Pocaro has appeared in the 5th Borough Comedy Festival, Eyes Up Here Fest and performs often at Dojo of Comedy East and Corgi Comedy Club. Steve has been a frequent guest on the podcasts Time To Teach Tim, That’s My Time, Diablo Radio and V Cast.

SHAE THOMAS - Shae Thomas is a comedian, actress and mother from Plainfield, NJ. Her comedy has been written about in New Jersey Monthly and HBCU Connect. Shae is a regular at The Comedy Cove and she was recently a featured performer at In Full Color: Empowering Women of Color and Easton Oktoberfest.
