The Chappening is a showcase curated by Chapel employees featuring current Chapel staff.

A fixture of the San Francisco indie rock scene since 2018, Mint returned in 2023 from a brief hiatus with a new rhythm section and EP titled “Interim.”

Clumsy Tungs is Conrad Talamantes and his serving plate of assorted lo-fi indie rock ideas. Bold bass textures paired with crunchy guitar tones served warm for audience consumption.

Bay Area native solo indie artist Byron Mayhew infuses his smooth John Legend style vocals with ethereal guitar sounds in the style of Tom Misch, FKJ, Young the Giant and Kings of Leon. Using his looper pedal and a wide arrange of guitar effects, Mayhew creates broad sonic soundscapes drenched in crisp reverb and pulsing rhythms.
