Before changing his name to TRVR? Trevor Douglas spent his early years establishing himself as a live performer in Texas. He performed on a wide variety of stages including Six Flags and the State Fair of Texas (the largest state fair in the country), and even opened for artists such as The Jonas Brothers, Ringo Star, Wilson Phillips, Austin Mahone and more. He’s come a long way from the kid that would perform outside of the sold out arenas of his favorite artists for tips. His snappy outfits and skill with a loop pedal made him stand out from other musicians like him. Hard Rock Cafe named him a “Rising Star” and the Texas Countdown Competition gave him their “Most Entertaining Singer” award. In 2015, hopeful and ambitious, Trevor headed to Nashville to audition for Season 14 of American Idol. After his audition aired, Trevor’s social media blew up collecting fans across the country that rooted for him to get to the next level of the show. He earned his spot in the Top 24. Soon after his appearance he released the “Sugar Coated Puberty” EP, which was one of the most popular records from a local musician out of North Texas, and performed across the US in his “The Better Luck Next Time” tour. His next EP, “Four in the Morning”, landed him critical acclaim with his song Problems charting on numerous New Music Friday playlists globally and the single Dandelions making massive waves in Asia. His new EP, 'just peachy ☼', releasing later this year is TRVR?’s first full length project since 2018, and he’s returning with a more mature and refined, yet explorative sound. Who is TRVR? A new name for that young Idol hopeful who's focusing on his future. You can find TRVR? residing in Los Angeles, California while still traveling the country for shows. In the last year he has opened for Jason Derullo and performed at colleges from coast to coast. His knack for bringing an introspective, relatable and - at times - hilariously wholesome style to his shows is attracting a whole.
