Steve Pile brings his All Star tribute to George Harrison’s All Things Must Pass back to Hopmonk Tavern, where the project began 11 years ago. Occurring on what would’ve been George’s 81th birthday, Pile and a group of the Bay Area’s finest musicians will recreate the album track by track. Steve, Reed Mathis, JP Mclean, Teal Collins, James Stafford and CMAC will explore the myriad ways in which George interpreted the iconic batch of songs that make up this masterpiece of modern music. Fitting with George’s love of Music from around the World, Gambian Kora master Jali Bakary Konteh will open the show and sit in with the band.
