CityWide is an alternative rock band based in Philadelphia. The quintet, composed of Emily Goldenberg, Ben Manning, Evan Brink, Patrick Cosgrave, and Simon Sheintoch, came together during a happenstance meeting in early 2019. Named after the city-wide drink special in Philadelphia, the group found shared interest in the upbeat modern sounds of The Lumineers, Lake Street Dive, and Mt. Joy. Simultaneously, the group traced its roots to the nostalgia and familiarity found in classic rock. When the band began writing original music for their first EP, One Hundred Thousand Dollars, a folk-rock influence became apparent that drove a mellower, more-humble sound, best exemplified in the track One Day. Meddling Kids, the band’s first full-length album, features ten songs that personify the band’s heightened excitement and creativity. After releasing their most recent singles, Jump Ship and Countdown, CityWide is looking forward to sharing brand new, stylistically divergent tunes throughout 2024. All five members contributed to songwriting and arrangements, ensuring a tasteful blend of textures and melodies.

Echo Kid is a psychedelic rock and roll band formed in Philadelphia in the spring of 2020 by multi instrumentalists Brendan McHale and Christian Turzo, longtime friends and collaborators and former members of Philly garage band RFA. Conceived thru a shared love of fluid, sturdy pop songwriting juxtaposed with unconventional lo-fo recording techniques and free associative wordplay, the duo began writing and recording together in earnest throughout 2020, working out of their home studio in Philadelphia and producing three full length albums as well as a string of EP’s over the ensuing three years. Blending the rich harmony of the Beatles, the hypnotic drone of the velvet underground, and the swaggering strut of the Rolling Stones, the band creates something unique—a potent distillation of 100 years of rock and roll history, equal parts modern and antique—both of the time and outside of it, “barroom rock and roll from outer space.” It’s red velvet curtain music, wood paneled music, music to dance to music to trance to, music to make you forget what it was you were about to say. Live, the duo are accompanied by the “mystifying multiplying death defying Lunar Sludge Band,” an amorphous collective of musicians and circus performers currently consisting of Nicole June and Kieran McCabe on keyboards and drums respectively. The band is in the midst of recording their forthcoming fourth album, Leaving (You’re Immortal in my Mind), and is in the process of developing a spiritual community dedicated to the ancient art of Suitorcraft.
